Startled by an automobile horn, a 600-pound milch cow being taken to the stockyards for slaughter because of her wildness, jumped from her pickup truck at 8th and Throckmorton. Snubbing their cow to a parking meter after catching her are Cecil Allen, left, Rt. 1, Joshua and Tom Anderson, right, of 1403 Waterman.
