Description
Sterling Pruitt was out to win some points for the Panther Boys Club squad in the regional Golden Gloves tournament. He either boxed as flyweight or as a bantam-according to what the scales said. Ramond Riojas signals that he lacks just two pounds of making the 127-pound feather limit, the goal at which he aimed. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 12, 1951.
