    These women are volunteers working at March of Dimes headquarters mailing out 70,000 polio fund cards. Left to right, Mrs. William Jary Jr., Junior Woman's Club; Mrs. K. B. Hawthorne, whose son, Lee, 11, is at Gonzales undergoing treatment for polio; Mrs. W. F. White, Meadowbrook Parent-Teacher Association (P-TA); Mrs. J. O. Jordan, who son, J. O. Jr., 13, was a child with polio last summer and now back in school; Mrs. E. M. Uhls, president of the Opti-misses Club, and Mrs. Leo Lederman, council of Jewish Women.
