William Lee Blanks, left, attempted to hide his face but wasn't quick enough when his picture was taken with Howard Hayden Craig after the two escaped convicts from the Alabama state penitentiary were arrested in Fort Worth by FBI agents. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 30, 1950.
