Image of Walter A. Schmid Jr. will become president January 1st of the North Texas Advertising Company Inc., succeeding the late W. A. Gibson Jr., who passed away in October. Election of Schmid, a native of Fort Worth, to the presidency was announced by the firm's board of directors. He became associated with the company in 1946 and since 1948 has been vice president in charge of sales and public relations. published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 30, 1950.
