Description
The formal dignity of "white tie and tails" for men, the swirling long skirts of evening gown and the elegance of fur wraps and orchid corsages marked the opening performance of "The Bat," presented in English by the Fort Worth Civic Opera Company at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Pretty Jere Campbell, squired by James Armstrong, enters the auditorium in plenty of time for the overture. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition November 30, 1950.
