Description

T. E. Monkres of 3005 Bishop, left, stopped walking at the downtown telephone exchange momentarily to watch his fellow picket, O. F. Smith of 1119 Travis, fight the chill wind with a bottle of coffee. Both were Western Electric telephone installers and carried strike signs. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 9, 1950.
