Description
Anna Ruth, 3, left, and Carroll Loraine, 6, right, had their daddy home their mother's illness brought Sergeant J. D. Kimberlin all the way from the 38th parallel in Korea. Kimberlin is believed to be the first soldier to return to Fort Worth from the combat area uninjured. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 19, 1950.
