Description
This nimble Sarus crane, nearly six feet tall, tried to outrun a photographer at Forest Park Zoo but failed. The crane, a native of Africa, arrived at the zoo the week before. His long legs carry him over the ground at a high speed. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition September 18, 1950.
