Description
Seeing grown men douse stray dogs with a strong chemical substance was "the most horrifying experience I've ever witnessed", an Arlington Heights housewife, Mrs. J. P. George, told Board of Education members. Hearing her plea for more humane methods were (counter-clockwise from her right) Member Leon Stewart, Board Secretary Miss Guilla Phipps, Board president George M. Conner, Superintendent Moore, Members Ray Finney, Mrs. J. A. Gooch and Rosco Minton. A group of men and women in a conference room sitting and standing at a table.
