Description
Gaunt against a summer sky, the stairway ends in nothingness as workmen demolish the old Knights of Columbus Hall at 1004 Lamar. The two-story white frame residence was built in the 1880s by Captain M. B. Lloyd, early day banker, later was a fashionable boarding house, and then served the K. of C. for years. The building is being torn down to make way for parking lot. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition June 21, 1950.
