Description
Drag lines and earth moving equipment were hard at work rushing completion of a new straight channel section for the Trinity. Looking south down the river are two coffer dams, which were removed to divert the river into the new channel. Twisting toward the west is the old river bed, as shown by the wooded stretch on the horizon. Published in the Fort Worth Star - Telegram morning edition, October 6, 1950.
