Description
Peter John Gifford, air cadet from Lowestoft, England, gets his first bite of barbecue from Master Sergeant Billie Jean Tyler, member of the Civil Air Patrol from Fort Worth. The strange taste shocked Gifford so much that he "didn't think" he liked it. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 15, 1950.
