Description
The billboard sign visible in the background was erected at Camp Bowie and Benbrook by the Fort Worth Safety Council, the first of 25 to be placed at traffic-dangerous intersections. Left to right are Dr. W. J. Danforth, council director; Johnnie Johnson, council member and donor of 15 of the signs, and Traffic Captain Dysart. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 15, 1950.
