Image shows former Huckabay Academy teachers. Reverend J. L. Oliver, of Mertens, right. And T. P. Everett of Weatherford. Both men taught at the Huckabay public school while the academy was operating. The photo was taken when the two reunited at Huckabay Ex-Students Reunion. Published in the morning edition, August 24, 1950.
