Description
Shortly before these three brothers took communion at Wichita Avenue Methodist Church, they had all received orders to report for active duty with their Marine Air Reserve unit. Left to right are, Tech Sergeant Thomas R., Private First Class John L., and Private Harry C. Oxford. The young men are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Oxford, of 311 South Henderson. Officiating to the right of the image, is their pastor, Reverend L. R. Vanderpoo. Published in the evening edition, August 7, 1950.
