Description
Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Khrone, of Maitland Florida, were known to soaring enthusiasts as "Mom and Pop". Mr. Khrone, at 62, was considered the dean of seaplane pilots. The couple, who formerly lived in El Paso, are shown as they take part in the soaring meet held in Grand Prairie. Published in the morning edition, August 2, 1950.
