Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Gilbert won the blue ribbon and a cash award at Hacienda Trailer Park for the most beautiful lawn. The image shows Mr. Gilbert clipping the edge of the flower beds as his wife sits to near him. Published in the evening edition, August 2, 1950.
