Seven Fort Worth youngsters enjoyed a full camping period at Camp Carter, Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) boys camp, as guests of the South Side Lions Club. The boys in the water, left to right, are Jerry Malone, Buddy Gieger, and Charles Whitlock. On the bank are, left to right, George Bell, Dona H. Bell, Miles Stanley, and John Mundis. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition August 1, 1950.
