Description
Mrs. Paul Monroe, 1017 South Lake, refused to let a recent major operation rob her voting privilege. A VFW Auxiliary leader who has promoted voting interest, Mrs. Monroe "practiced what she preached" and had a Ray Crowder ambulance carry her from Harris Hospital to 1501 West Magnolia, where she cast her ballot. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition July 22, 1950.
