Pvt. Elmer Hoelscher of Temple gets a mashed toe treated by Major H. V. Marlin, also Temple, right, and Second Lieutenant Lloyd E. Spencer, of Commerce. The injury was received during maneuvers of the 49th Armored Division, Texas National Guard, at Fort Hood. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition July 20, 1950.
