Description
Donald Dean, Frank Young and Lionel Howerton were three of 436 Boy Scouts from Washington and Idaho who ate watermelon in the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway's 17th St. yards evening. They are en route home from the Valley Forge Boy Scout Jamboree. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition July 11, 1950.
