    Description

    The Fort Worth Historical Society fell heir to the stone, which will be stored by the city park department until some suitable site may be found for it. On hand for the opening of the cornerstone were Charles G. Cotten of the Chamber of Commerce, G. T. Jefferson of the Texas Highway Department, president of the wrecking company plus a dozen or so onlookers.
