An appreciation dinner was held for F.R. Matthis who is retiring from the faculty of Texas Wesleyan University. Mr. Matthis taught Math at TWU, and is popular among the students and devoted to his subject. Mary Nell Hendricks of Arlington, "Miss Texas 1958" former TWU student can be seen handing a recognition to Mr. Matthis.
