Seven students at W. C. Stripling Junior High School have been named winners of annual awards for scholarship and leadership. Three students ranking highest scholastically won medals given annually by the estate of W. C. Stripling. They are Mary Morris, seventh grade, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Morris of 3622 Potomac; Jeff Jarvis, eight grade, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Jarvis of 1719 Thomas Pl., and Susan Clough, ninth grade, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Clough of 4016 Kenley. Left to right, Morris, Clough, and Jarvis.
