Six Carswell Air Force Base B-36s flying over Convair runway as the plant's last B-36 prepared to take off for the West Coast. The bombers flew over at 1,000 feet at the conclusion of ceremonies marking the end of production. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 15, 1954.
