Ranch and Farm Magazine on cooking. Ice cream cake is something new, good and colorful that can add a needed touch to a party. Prepared completely in the freezer, the first step is placing ice cream balls on a tray and place in freezer until thoroughly frozen. A quart each of three flavors of ice cream or sherbet is required. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram edition July, 1954
