Three Texas editors and publishers get together at Hotel Texas to discuss crop and business conditions in there as a result of the recent heavy rains. They are, left to right, J. C. Phillips, editor and manager of the Borger News-Herald; Burton Fielder of the Farmersville Times and Merle Luker, co-publisher of the Grapeland Messenger. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 18, 1954.
