Four anglers exchange fish stories around their camp fire at Benbrook Lake night while waiting for the official opening. Left to right are Wade Rowland of 1017 Edney, F. W. Hackney of 1009 Edney, Dick Denton of Abilene and Joe Hale of Denton. Thousands of fishermen were on hand at the lake to try their luck. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 1, 1954.
