Linda Kay Gordon, 11, left, and Betty Lou Kees, 12, present a cake they baked to Bill Tankersley of 3121 Wesley, a bus driver who has been a special friend to the girls. The youngsters staged their surprise birthday party when Tankersley stopped his bus to pick up passengers. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 22, 1954.
