Description
Dr. D. E. Bibby points to a lung cavity found by means of a specially-equipped X-ray machine at St. Joseph's Hospital which can take clearly defined of pre-determined areas in patient's lungs. At the left, is the exposed film from an ordinary X-ray examination of the same patient which shows a cavity on the patient's right side but because of the intervening rib cage and tissue fails to give a sharp picture of the deep-placed cavity.
