Here are shown Dr. C. L. Lundell, left, director of the Texas Research Foundation, and Clinton Harbers of West Point, at the annual field day of the research foundation at Renner. Harbers was named winner of the $5,000 Hoblitzelle Award which went to the farmer or rancher judged to have made the outstanding contribution to the state's agriculture in the previous three years. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 20, 1954.
