Roy Edward Daniel, left, and Thomas Edward Hamilton, both 8, were among the first to register for free swimming lessons that opened at the Central Branch of Youth Men Christian Association (YMCA), 512 Lamar. Roy is shown with a writing utensil in his hand. Both boys lean on a table. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 25, 1954.
