Description
Finishing touches are being put on the Summit-to-Henderson section of the East-West Freeway. The link is scheduled to be opened for traffic if the weather doesn't interfere with the work. This view, looking eastward, shows the new freeway section from the top of the overpass on Summit. Crossing the freeway is the Ballinger St. overpass. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 25, 1954.
