Description

Architect's conception of how the installation of escalators will change the appearance in Stripling's. The view is of the Main Street entrance through the men's department and shows the escalators where the present south elevators were, with two of the north elevators still in place, right. Preston M. Geren is the architect for the work which will provide escalator transportation for all sections of the store. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 23, 1954.
