Mrs. John Burleson, right, wife of Tarrant County's assistant agricultural agent, tries to interest Karen Hitzfield in a doll to exchange for the pair of rabbits Karen's mother, Mrs. W. H. Hitzfield of Rendon, center, brought to the county home demonstration swap day at Rockwood Park. Looking for something to trade for a lawn mower were Mrs. Dee M. Wilkinson and her son Robert of Bludworth. About 150 home demonstration members and guests attended the swap day and luncheon. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 21, 1954.
