Description
Here it is shown Dr. S. M. Briscoe, a Fort Worth physician who was among eight Texas doctors who were honored at the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. Dr. Briscoe resides at 3621 Manderly Place. He graduated at the school in 1904. The eight were awarded certificates testifying to their "50 years of devoted service to promoting the health of the people in Texas." Dr. Briscoe was retired. Dr. Briscoe, who had never practiced in Fort Worth, moved to Fort Worth three years prior from Trinity where he had practiced 30 years. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 16, 1954.
