Sightless Mrs. E. V. Turner, 3257 Odessa, right, is shown presenting some of the dressings she made for cancer patients to Mrs. Joseph M. Perkins, Eastland, vice president of the Texas Division, American Cancer Society and a member of the ACS national service committee. Mrs. Turner made about 100 dressings for persons she termed "less fortunate." Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 12, 1954.
