Scenes of the first Armed Forces Day celebration staged at Carswell Air Base were caught by Joe McAulay, Star-Telegram cameraman, as more than two dozen National Guard tanks were lined up on the south ramp beside the B-36s, mightiest bombers in the world. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 21, 1950.
