Description
Bill Curtis, center, Texas Christian University (TCU) sophomore, leads the way over the first hurdle in the 120-yard highs in the triangular meet with SMU and Baylor here. At left is Guayford Donaldson, Baylor, who finished third, and at right is Southern Methodist University's (SMU) Arnold Hudson, who finished second. Curtis' time was a sparkling 14.2. The image shows the boys jumping over hurdles. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 7, 1954. The other male jumper not mentioned by name.
