Description

The 500-ton, 160-foot-long span was moved into place Tuesday on the T&P tracks over Boaz. The bridge section, which will carry two of T&P's mainline tracks over the North-South Freeway, was assembled on moveable piers and then pulled into place without disrupting rail traffic. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 27, 1954.
