Description
Silver pistols were awarded to five outstanding officers in the four divisions of the police department at the second annual Appreciation Dinner. They are, left to right, Traffic Officers Carl L. Brewer and C. E. Nichols, Fort Worth Safety Council President Charles W. Needham, Juvenile Officer B. F. Stevens, Desk Officer Ernest O. Bradshaw and Detective A. A. Lewis. Seated is I. B. Hale, security director at Convair and toastmaster at the dinner. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition April 5, 1954
