Participating in the recognition service for "Outstanding Clubwoman 1954" of the First District, Texas Federation of Women's Clubs, are, left to right, Madams Dave P. Walker, Stamford, leadership chairman; Lloyd McCloud, Bryson, district president; Paul Allison, Provarsu Club of Fort Worth, "Outstanding Clubwoman," and L. E. Dudley of Abilene, state federation president. The award was made during the closing session of the district convention at Hotel Texas. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 1, 1954
