Description
It was nip and puck all over Fort Worth when schools closed for the day and impromptu "sleet hockey" games began on neighborhood streets. Though slightly short on sticks, there was nothing wrong with this South Side team's spirit. The skate less skaters are, left to right, Alan Bean of 2216 Irwin, Bill Courtney of 1037 E. Robert, Henry Keller of 2417 Shirley, Ralph Martin of 3313 Stanley, Bugs Neill of 2541 Boyd and Hammer Hanrahan of 1118 Harris. Boys in winter coats and hats skating and one boy has a hockey stick.
