This White Leghorn hen raised by O. E. Niehus of Fairmount, Oklahoma, was judged grand champion bird of the poultry show at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. With the bird are Merle Soules, left, and Allen D. Fitchett, judges who selected the bird. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 4, 1954.
