Cliff's Golden Lady, owned by Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Clift and Son of Fort Worth, won the grand championship for Palomino pleasure type mares at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. At left is Clift and right, presenting the trophy, is Mrs. Lyle Cobb of Beaverton, Oregon. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 2, 1954.
