Shiek of Belvedere, owned by Cal Williams of Dallas, was named pleasure type Palomino grand champion at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. Trainer at left is M. A. Whited. At right is Mrs. M. T. McCormick of Tulsa, presenting trophy awarded by the Texas Palomino Exhibitors Association. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 2, 1954.
