Description
The world champion junior cowboy and cowgirl were named by the American Junior Rodeo Association. Announced during the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show rodeo matinee in Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum, the all-around cowboy title went to Cotton Kinney, a bulldogging and cutting horse contestant from Sulphur, La. Awards and trophies were presented to Kinney , an optional barrel racer, in one of the final features of a matinee. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram February 1, 1954.
