DeWitt T. Weaver, wearing a Shady Oak hat presented by Amon Carter at a reception honoring the return of Texas Tech's Gator Bowl football champions at Amon Carter Field. Mr. Weaver holds up the Gator Bowl game ball he presented to Carter. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 23, 1954.
