This cane, symbol of the staff used by the Greek god of medicine, will be awarded to a Fort Worth doctor tonight, December 15. Mrs. Deana Cunningham, secretary at Haltom's Jewelers, is placing a gold band on the cane she is holding with the name of the winner. The cane symbolizes the highest award that a fellow physician can give him.
